We haven't been able to confirm pregnancy - no puppy heartbeats found via sonar doppler. We've been told that it's easiest to find heartbeats 5-6 weeks into gestation so we'll continue to keep our fingers crossed for a few more days which is when we'll cross the 6 week mark. It doesn't seem likely that there are puppies but we'll keep an eye on Mahea until the estimated gestation period is over as we don't want to miss any signs of pyometra or be caught off guard in the event she is carrying a single puppy.
